About Hendone
Hendone (Persian: هندونه, “watermelon”) is a collection of six party games for iPhone and iPad. It is built for game nights with family and friends: one phone is passed around the room, and the app handles the words, secret roles, timers and scores.
Everything works offline. There are no accounts, no ads and no tracking, and the app never connects to the internet. The games were written first for Persian speakers, with thousands of hand-checked Persian words and cards, and the whole app is also available in English.

Charades (Pantomime)
Act out a word without speaking while your team races the clock. 3,300+ curated Persian words in 17 topics, three difficulty levels worth 3, 6 and 10 points, a Golden Question worth 30, and automatic team scoring. Persian guide
Forbidden Word
A Taboo-style word game: describe the word on the card without saying any of its five forbidden words. 2,000+ cards in 9 categories, a buzzer, golden cards, combo bonuses and team scoring. Persian guide
Spy
A Spyfall-style social deduction game. Everyone sees the secret location and their role except the spy. Ask sharp questions to unmask the spy before they guess where you are. 200 locations in 4 packs, 3 to 12 players. Persian guide
Mafia
Deals secret roles on one phone and guides the narrator through every night step by step, with speech and defense timers, voting and a night log. Classic and Godfather scenarios with eight roles, 5 to 20 players plus a narrator. Persian guide
Wink
Wink Murder: the killer eliminates players with a wink while the detective tries to catch them. Open or undercover detective, one or two killers, dramatic deaths and silent witnesses, 4 to 20 players. Persian guide
Guess the Character
A Heads Up-style guessing game: hold the phone on your forehead, listen to your friends' clues and tilt down for correct or up to pass. Team or free-for-all play, with a kids' deck. Persian guide
Features
- One phone for everyone. Pass the phone around; secret roles are revealed with a press-and-hold so nobody else sees them.
- Complete rules built in. Timers, turns, scoring and winners are handled automatically for every game.
- Curated content. More than 3,300 Charades words, 2,000 Forbidden Word cards and 200 Spy locations, each reviewed to be familiar, playable and fun. Recently used words are remembered so they don’t repeat too soon.
- “What should we play tonight?” Five quick questions about your group suggest the best game for the moment.
- Resume and history. Unfinished games are saved automatically, and past game nights, winners and scores stay on your device.
- Made for iPad too. Larger, easier-to-read layouts that work in any orientation and in Split View.
- You choose the content. An optional adult word category (Persian only) is off by default and needs your confirmation to turn on. Because of it, the app is rated 18+ on the App Store.
- Light and Dark Mode, Dynamic Type support, sounds and haptics.
